SSCo Event Management and The Gleaner Company has done it again, Come November 11-19, The Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week will see more than 75 restaurants in, now, seven cities opening their doors for the 12th staging which spans one week and two weekends.
In response to the growing appetite of the public for local and international dishes - Restaurant Week has added a new category 'Caterers'. This year, not only will foodies be lured to enjoy the dining spaces of the 21 newly listed restaurants, but they will have the opportunity to feast within the comfort of their own space, thanks the nine caterers now on board ." Eat In , DIne Out ! ". Like the restaurants, caterers will pull out all the stops and offer exciting menus discounted as much as 30 per cent.
Additionally, the culinary celebration now includes more cities well beyond the urban zones of Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay. Say hello to Mandeville, Treasure Beach, Alligator Pond and Bluefields!
With 14 corporate sponsors, seven categories, local and international menus, and the promise of an unforgettable experience, this year's Restaurant Week plans to be irresistible.
CATEGORIES
All participating restaurants will offer a choice of pre-selected three-course dinner menus. Restaurants will offer three-course meals (appetizer, main course and dessert) in one of five categories:
"Tasty" dinner menus are $1,850 "Savoury" are $2,800 "Delectable" meals are $3,800 "Epicurean" experiences are available for $4,300 "Nyam and Scram" 30% discounted lunch combos and "Morning Bites" 30% discount "Caterers 30% discount"
Prices are per person, and do not include beverages, GCT (tax) or gratuity.
