Prolific art duo Gillie and Marc, known for their heartwarming and thought-provoking art installations that celebrate and raise awareness for wildlife preservation, have brought their whimsical and interactive style to life in Miami Beach for the first time with the unveiling of two never-before-exhibited bronze sculptures on Lincoln Road through December 2025: “The Giraffe and Chimpanzee Were on a Wild Ride to a Safer Place with Rabbitwoman and Dogman” and “The White Rhino Bench of Friendship.” Visitors are encouraged to interact with the sculptures, share photos on social media using the hashtags #GillieandMarc and #OnLincoln, and join the artists’ mission to promote conservation

“Chicano/a/x Prints and Graphics: Selections from the Hispanic Research Center’s Collection, 1980–2010” showcases a partnership between ASU’s Hispanic Research Center (HRC) and ASU Art Museum and brings together works from the 1980s into the 2010s drawn from the HRC’s dynamic collection. Featuring over 30 artists who each offer a kaleidoscope of perspectives on the Mexican American experience, this year-long exhibition pays homage to the ideals of the Chicano Movement of the 1960s and 70s and expands upon them through the widely disseminated medium of prints. Presented in two parts, this unique exhibition underscores how Chicano/a/x artists have employed prints and graphics to build community, engage with social concerns, and interrogate shifting notions of political and cultural identity over time.


Artists in the first rotation include: Celia Alvarez Muñoz (United States, b. 1937), Alfredo Arreguín (United States, 1935–2023), Samuel Baray (United States, b. 1938), Candace Briceño (United States, b. 1971), Rolando Briseño (United States, b.1952), Vibiana Chamberlin (United States, b. 1942), Sam Coronado (United States, 1946–2013), Margarita “Mita” Cuarón (United States, b. 1952), Gaspar Enriquez (United States, b. 1942), Dolores Guerrero-Cruz (United States, b. 1948), Ester Hernández (United States, b. 1944), Yolanda Lopez (United States, 1942–2021), César Martinez (United States, b. 1944), Salvador Roberto Torres (United States, b. 1936), D. Rose, Annette Maria Sexton-Ruiz (United States, b. 1958), Patssi Valdez (United States, b. 1951) and Larry Yáñez (United States, b. 1949).


“Chicano/a/x Prints and Graphics: Selections from the Hispanic Research Center’s Collection, 1980–2010” is organized by ASUAM Senior Curator Alana Hernandez and ASUAM Curator Brittany Corrales and is made possible by funding provided by the Evelyn Smith Exhibition Fund. Additional funding is provided by ASU’s Hispanic Research Center and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with a Community of Practice composed of Carla Chavarria, Community Building Director, Iconico, and Carla León Celaya, PhD candidate in the Spanish Department at the School of International Letters and Cultures, ASU.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (02-11-2025) – Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) presents the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2025. Set for March 14-16, 2025. (Friday-Sunday). Thousands of Tejano Music Fans from across the country will travel to Hemisfair in Downtown San Antonio for the Tejano Music event of the year.

The three-day event runs from Friday, March 14 & Saturday, March 15 from 12 noon to 12 midnight and Sunday, March 16 it runs from 12:00 noon to 11pm each night and will showcase bands from across the U.S.A. TMA Fan Fair showcases bands from Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Florida, Michigan and of course Texas. This event has drawn more than 125,000 die-hard fans each year and offers an up close and personal atmosphere with live music on three stages featuring emerging acts and top-established performers as well as surprise guest performances.

The family-oriented event has plenty of traditional food, beverages, and vendor booths as well as Tejano Music merchandise. Fans will get exclusive access to their favorite artists participating in the special autograph sessions with Actor Valente Rodriguez and Elida Reyna y Avante and many more to be announced during the three-day event.

The Tejano Music Awards continues to shine each year by producing the largest Tejano Music event in the country. Floating seeds roam the drylands, intending to make deep forms. Floating seeds are vessels searching for potential life, simultaneously suspended and rooted, architects of their own making. We find floating seeds at the porous intersections of landscape and architecture, visually manifesting their underlying networks, ecosystems, and cultures. Making deep forms is a way of reworlding—an attempt to view things differently—refuting binary order to speculate the future. Floating seeds make deep forms on a path toward becoming, being, and knowing by reflecting the complexity of their entangled networks and testing their existence. Floating seeds make deep forms through new structures that emerge as palpable auras of transformation.

Los Angeles-based artist Cybele Lyle explores place and identity by reconfiguring architecture, interior space, and the natural environment in her installation, video, and 2D works. Her first solo museum exhibition, _Floating Seeds Make Deep Forms_, is a site-specific installation that reimagines deserts of North America as liminal expanses for ambiguity within a regenerative ecosystem and positions architecture through the lens of queer space, a responsive site to the natural evolution of identity and environment.

SMoCA’s _Architecture + Art_ series presents ground-breaking projects by individuals whose work explores and challenges the boundaries between architecture and art. Organized by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and curated by Lauren R. O’Connell, curator of contemporary art. This artwork is commissioned following W.A.G.E. guidelines.
