This weekly gathering creates a sense of Community, connecting Neighbors and Supporting Local Businesses, making it a cherished ritual for many. So come hungry and ready to discover the diverse flavors and talents that your local vendors have to offer!

Surprise Farmer's Market

Watch the Valley Suns face off against the Santa Cruz Warriors in their inaugural season on January 12, 2025.


The Valley Suns are a professional basketball team in the NBA G League that is affiliated with the Phoenix Suns [https://www.visitphoenix.com/events/sports-events/phoenix-suns-schedule/]. The team is the newest addition to the league, with its inaugural season kicking off at Mullett Arena in late 2024.

Valley Suns vs. Santa Cruz Warriors

Arizona Philharmonic principal timpanist, Maria Flurry, always brings a vibrant party to the stage, and this manos percussion performance Sunday, January 12 is sure to delight and surprise. Partnering with award-winning Bensen Kwan on steel pan (a participant in the Panorama Semi-Finals Competition in Trinidad/Tobago) and Joshua Ferrell on percussion (a Master’s Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas in Denton), they will play 37 instruments, including water, on their way through a dynamic range of material from jazz to Basque to calypso and Bach. “We are all classically trained musicians, unleashing our creative sides to explore this rich collaboration. For both your intellect and your inner child, this is a concert to look forward to,” commented Flurry.

This virtuosic round-the-world journey embraces everything from the grooves of Afro-Cuban rhythms to the sublime melancholy of Debussy—a dynamic exploration of the wealth of musical possibilities percussion offers. manos will be accompanied by three members of Banda Latino Caribeña, a popular Latin band from Flagstaff, on a number of dance-worthy pieces as well. The performance also includes a unique atmospheric piece played entirely on flower pots by manos and joined by PUSD band students, mentored and directed by Peter Ferry. Ferry is a world-class percussion soloist based in Phoenix, dedicated to creating arresting musical experiences for audiences around the world. “There will be more water and unexpected musical pieces included, such as a farce in a café involving water bottles,” added Flurry.

The free pre-concert talk begins at 2:00pm, with the concert starting at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 12, at the Ruth Street Theater, 1050 Ruth Street in Prescott. Tickets start at $25 (no ticketing fee), and are available at AZPhil.org, or by calling 855-321-6724.

Kids & adults are invited to partake in a timeless holiday tradition – outdoor ice skating on our real ice rink! Make magical memories with your loved ones as you glide through an unforgettable winter wonderland. All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re performing pirouettes or strapping on skates for the first time.

Skate Westgate will be open from November 1 through January 20, with hours varying each day.

This free Asian event is a smaller version of our other events. This night market will showcase local food vendors and a variety of anime/retail vendors at this Asian food festival. This food festival is about highlighting the diversity of food and an opportunity for small businesses to show their culture through their food.

We highly encourage carpooling and rideshare. Parking is free. Most vendors will accept both cash and card. We do recommend bringing cash for this event. You can buy food to go.

Please RSVP and this will help us have an accurate head count to share with food vendors. You can also order online from Happy Buns to guarantee availability during the event as they often sell out.

There will be over 15 local Asian food and Anime artists at this monthly, free night market. There will also be different local Asian food vendors each month.
