About this event

Head to MoonLighter FabLab on Lincoln Road this Sunday, for some educational, fun, and hands-on activities for the kids. The monthly Lincoln Kids Club program gives kids ideally in elementary or middle school a unique project-based session with different themes each month. For this session, kids will assemble a solar-powered circuit that’ll power a buzzing bug, then use this cool critter for a couple of short scientific investigations! Each student will receive a kit fully equipt with their own bug cards, solar cell, vibration motor, googly eyes, conductive tape and instructions. They’ll learn about how solar cells create electricity to power different things, fun facts about the explorations of the bug they are making, and discoveries on how circuits work.

Spots fill up quickly so make sure you register for your kid soon!

Lincoln Road is a world-renowned, outdoor pedestrian promenade in the heart of Miami Beach, featuring over 200 shops, cafés & galleries, public art, culture, happenings and more. All Lincoln Road BID events are free and open to the public.
