Go green this Earth Day at Dadeland Mall, Miami’s original and iconic shopping center. From 12pm to 2pm, guests from all over are welcome to join the celebration, which includes the following activities around sustainability, recycling and more:
Swing by for a seed-planting activity with Tinez Farms. Be one of the first 100 people to check in at the event, and you’ll get the chance to create your own air plant terrarium—for free! Make special bath bombs with LUSH. Learn more about The Underline project, the transformation of the land below Miami’s Metrorail into a 10 mile linear park, urban trail, and public art destination.
Additionally, Dadeland Mall is partnering with Give Back Box to collect reused cardboard boxes filled with gently used clothing, shoes and accessories, then donate them to a local charity. Make sure to stick around after outside of the Dining Pavilion for the opening of “The Underline Atala Society Butterfly Garden,” a garden filled with plants that attract and feed these beautiful, important pollinators.
