About this event
In this class students will make their very own Epoxy/Wood cheese board. Students will cut their own unique shape on the bandsaw with the wood provided for the class. Students will then learn how to properly seal the mold that will be provided for the class followed by clamping their wooden pieces securely in place of that mold. Then the real fun stuff, students will mix up their own deep pour epoxy and choose from the many colors of pigment provided in the class. Students will pour their epoxy in their molds and swirl their own unique designs in the epoxy. After the epoxy has cured and hardened, our instructor will then surface the boards to a thickness of around 3/4" thick. Students will be able to come and pick up their boards and finish them at home. Students will have the option of paying a $35 classroom fee to come and finish their boards in the classroom on another date that works best for them. Finished board size will be roughly 10" wide X 14" Long X 3/4" Thick.Safety Measures We’re Taking to Keep You SafeSocial Distancing - All of our classes have a low capacity of attendees and will allow for social distancing.Sanitization - Our classrooms, seating areas, and tools are cleaned and disinfected before and after every class.
