About this event
The Body Project is an interactive discussion & activity-based workshop designed to improve body-image. It consists of 2 sessions of 2 hours each. The workshops are facilitated by trained student staff on campus.
Research shows women, and femme individuals who participate in Body Project workshops demonstrate:
Reduced body dissatisfaction Reduced negative mood Reduced unhealthy dieting Reduced thin-ideal internalization (desire to be unhealthily thin) 60% reduced risk of developing disordered eating up to 3 years later!
There are two different workshops this semester! The first one will occur on October 18th and 20th from 3:30-6pm. The second one will occur on November 16th and 18th from 3:30- 6pm.
