Unwind during Wine O’clock at Orno in THesis Hotel. During Wine O’clock, all wines by the glass and bottle will be 50% off between 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m on Tuesday through Sunday.
Nestled in the culinary showroom orbiting around an open-kitchen concept, the notable 400-bottle wine cellar features a wide selection of pairable unique and diverse wines. When selecting the wines from Orno’s wine list, which features over 100 different varietals from sparkling and rosé to white and red vintages, chef Niven Patel took the time to pair each of the wines with the restaurant’s signature dishes.
Focusing on the quality of each blend, chef Patel worked with growers and vineyards who specialize in sustainable and biodynamic harvesting practices as he hand-picked the expansive portfolio of global wines, including:
Champagne by J. De Telmont, a French bubbly which is structured and accessible, airy yet with a real personality and presence. El Enemigo, Mendoza, Argentina 2018, a Semillon with rich, lemon and lightly grassy aromas in a very fresh, pure and focused mode. Bodegas Emilio Moro, Ribera Del Duero, Spain 2018, a powerful, balanced Tempranillo with exceptional elegance. The aromas have been refined through the aging process and it has notes of wood in the background and the personality of the variety.
