About this event
Dear Friends of Hanover Charities,
The 2014 Sugar Cane Ball is going to step back to the 60's, and this year's Chairs, Nazee Klotz and Nan Brenninkmeyer, have gathered inspiration from an iconic event - the writer Truman Capote's famous Black and White Masked Ball. Capote's event was the epitome of elegance and saw the world's glitterati gather in New York's Plaza Hotel Ballroom.
It was said of Truman Capote's party--if you weren't invited, you had better leave town! Luckily that won't be the case on Saturday, February 15, 2014 when the gorgeous and glamorous of this era will gather in black & white, this time for a good cause, to support Hanover Charities and the many projects that depend on the proceeds of The Sugar Cane Ball.
