Jamaica Epilepsy Association (JEA) in association with Nice Time Productions Limited will be hosting a fund-raiser screening for the award winning "Songs of Redemption" documentary .
The Jamaica Epilepsy Association (JEA) is a registered non-profit organization established in 2002 with a mandate to improve the lives of children and adults affected by epilepsy, a medical condition. JEA helps them through counselling and other support programs to live a healthy and normal life. "Songs of Redemption" is the third film project to be completed by Nice Time Productions Limited. Since the release of this must see film project, it was already garnered rave reviews from local and international audiences.
The film makers received the Best Documentary Feature documentary about the lives of several inmates at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Facility. It features riveting personal narratives and powerful reggae recordings created, preformed and produced through a unique partnerships between inmates and wardens at the General Penitentiary in Kingston, Jamaica.
