This year’s Southwest Cajun Fest will be a vibrant, family-friendly celebration reminiscent of Bourbon Street. Highlights include a live alligator petting zoo, The Swamp Bar serving up handcrafted hurricanes and daiquiris, and a speakeasy lounge with specialty cocktails exclusively available inside. Special guest Jungle Jill will be on-site, bringing an unforgettable, up-close, and interactive animal experience to everyone. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to see and touch exotic and domestic animals, learning fascinating facts while creating lifelong memories.
 
There will also be an array of mouthwatering Cajun and seafood vendors providing bold flavors such as gumbo, frog legs, po’ boys, beignets, hush puppies, alligator bites, catfish, and a freshly prepared seafood boil.
 
The entertainment lineup will immerse festivalgoers in Mardi Gras magic with live music from Cajun, Zydeco, and blues bands, as well as street performances by stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians, and a high-energy brass marching band. Guests can revel in a traditional Mardi Gras atmosphere with beads raining down from second-story balconies during a Bourbon Street experience.
 
For families, the festival offers plenty of kid-friendly activities, including a dedicated kids’ zone with rides, inflatables, and interactive entertainment. Eating competitions and other engaging challenges add to the fun for attendees of all ages.

11th Annual Southwest Cajun Fest

Tour the original Four Peaks brewery.


Housed inside a 130-year-old, definitely haunted former creamery and ice factory, 8th Street is the original Four Peaks location and the best place to find all of our specialty beers as well as some of the tastiest brewpub food you'll ever stick in your mouth. This place has a lot of history—and we want to share that history with you.


Join us every Saturday for tours of the 8th Street brewery. Each tour, led by an experienced Four Peaks guide, offers insight into our operations, showcases our history and gives an in-depth overview of the brewing process. Tours include a full pour of one of our year-round beers and three samples.


Please note that this is a working brewery, and potentially dangerous elements such as wet floors and hot vessels are common. That said, we have a few rules:


 * All guests must be 21 and over.
 * Flat, closed-toe shoes are required.
 * You must wear the protective equipment provided by your tour guide at all times.
 * DO NOT TOUCH anything unless expressly told you can by the tour guide.
 * We reserve the right to deny brewery access to any person who appears intoxicated or may be a safety concern.

This free Asian event is a smaller version of our other events. This night market will showcase local food vendors and a variety of anime/retail vendors at this Asian food festival. This food festival is about highlighting the diversity of food and an opportunity for small businesses to show their culture through their food.

We highly encourage carpooling and rideshare. Parking is free. Most vendors will accept both cash and card. We do recommend bringing cash for this event. You can buy food to go.

Please RSVP and this will help us have an accurate head count to share with food vendors. You can also order online from Happy Buns to guarantee availability during the event as they often sell out.

There will be over 15 local Asian food and Anime artists at this monthly, free night market. There will also be different local Asian food vendors each month.

Make Fresh Pasta Alfredo with Chef Maricarmen at Bone Haus Brewing

The enchanting, all-ages, holiday walk-through festival, Imaginarium “Winter Wonderland” has returned to Phoenix at Mesa’s Superstition Springs Center, open now through Monday, Feb. 17. Guests of all ages can immerse themselves in a glowing tapestry of holiday-inspired magic, where every corner reveals new wonders and memories waiting to be made along with seasonal enchantment featuring millions of shimmering lights, whimsical displays and dazzling interactive experiences.

Imaginarium “Winter Wonderland” at Superstition Springs Center, located at 6555 E. Southern Ave., is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. General admission tickets start at $24 per person, with discount ticket prices available for children ages three to 12, seniors over 62 and military with valid I.D. Children under three are free. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Parking is free. Tickets may be purchased online on the website or by calling 725-272-2700.
