The Surprise Farmer's Market will be brimming with Fresh Produce, Unique Crafts, a wide variety of Tasty Food options, Artisanal Products and Seasonal Harvests, as well as a DJ filling the air with your favorite music.

This weekly gathering creates a sense of Community, connecting Neighbors and Supporting Local Businesses, making it a cherished ritual for many. So come hungry and ready to discover the diverse flavors and talents that your local vendors have to offer!

Sixteen-time GRAMMY® award-winning musician, songwriter, and producer David Foster and acclaimed singer, television and Broadway star Katharine McPhee are bringing their LIVE show on the road. This intimate show, with the powerhouse duo, will be packed with David’s Hits from Chicago, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, etc. and Katharine’s biggest songs from “American Idol,” “Smash” and “Waitress.” Plus some of their favorites that they just love.

This free Asian event is a smaller version of our other events. This night market will showcase local food vendors and a variety of anime/retail vendors at this Asian food festival. This food festival is about highlighting the diversity of food and an opportunity for small businesses to show their culture through their food.

We highly encourage carpooling and rideshare. Parking is free. Most vendors will accept both cash and card. We do recommend bringing cash for this event. You can buy food to go.

Please RSVP and this will help us have an accurate head count to share with food vendors. You can also order online from Happy Buns to guarantee availability during the event as they often sell out.

There will be over 15 local Asian food and Anime artists at this monthly, free night market. There will also be different local Asian food vendors each month.

This exhibit is all about exploring and celebrating the deep connections between Arizona’s Indigenous communities and their agricultural traditions, offering a rich historical perspective and a glimpse into the contemporary practices that sustain these cultural lifeways today.


Come discover how these communities have thrived for over 4,000 years, learn about farming practices unique to Arizona's diverse ecosystems, and dive into the important ongoing story of water rights in the Southwest. Meryl McMaster: Bloodline is a survey exhibition featuring the pioneering large-scale photographic works of Canadian artist Meryl McMaster (b. 1988), reflecting her mixed nêhiyaw(Plains Cree)/Siksika, Dutch, and British ancestry. This exhibition spans McMaster’s past accomplishments (2008-2019) and her recent explorations (2022-2023) of family histories, particularly those of her Plains Cree/Métis female forebears from the Red Pheasant Cree Nation in present-day Saskatchewan, Canada. This will be the first major solo exhibition of Meryl McMaster’s work outside of Canada. McMaster interrogates colonial histories, residential schools, and ancestral trauma, re-creating and re-imagining oral histories and stories in reclamation.

Over the weekend of January 24-26, 2025, the Shops at Norterra in North Phoenix will host a local version of Sedona’s popular Oak Creek Arts & Crafts Shows. Featuring demonstrations by artists, an interactive art installation, live entertainment, and more, the Shops at Norterra Art Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, admission is free.

A key highlight of the Shops at Norterra Art Festival is the diverse assortment of art and handcrafted items on display and available for purchase, including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, and Native American pieces. Artists at the event will be providing demonstrations of how they create their works, offering firsthand insight into the artistic process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to join in creating new works of art by painting on three large interactive murals, which will be raffled off at the end of the festival. In addition to the incredible art on display, the festival will feature a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment, including a dynamic drum circle that invites audience participation and performances by various talented musicians.

The Shops at Norterra Art Festival is the latest event presented by Marlo Johnson Promotions, a Sedona, Ariz.-based group that seeks to provide inspiring venues for the finest local artisans, craftspeople, and vendors.
