On Thursday September 7 at 6:30 pm the library will be holding an Open House where you can discover how to get the most out of your library card. An informational session will be followed by a craft station a guessing jar challenge and other activities. Learn how to access free online resources borrow tools from Florida’s first dedicated Tool Library use the catalog to find what you need how to get help with technology and much more.

September is Library Card Sign-up Month a time when Safety Harbor Public Library joins the American Library Association and libraries nationwide to remind everyone about the valuable resources available with a library card.

Safety Harbor Public Library will be celebrating all month long with several great ways to celebrate being a library card holder! Sign up for a card or renew your account to be entered into a gift card raffle answer weekly trivia questions and share your library experiences on the library’s social media page.

FOL book sales include all genres of books in good condition are  available, with most items only $1 or $2.  All book sales are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  We do not allow early bird sales.  
  
Donations of books in good condition are always accepted.  Please bring all donations to the library or call 727-724-1525, x 4105 to arrange a pick up if you have a large donation of quality books, published in the last ten years. We can gladly give you a receipt for your donation, but can not put a value on your donation. Sorry we don't accept textbooks.  
  
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with Book Sales.  Please email one of our Board Members for information on how to help.
