Blind Date with a Book is a book chosen by the staff at Bookophilia to be gift wrapped, tagged with clues and set back on he shelf. Using only the clues written on the books, you take a chance, buy one and of enjoy!

This curated collection includes everything from mystery, romance, classics, horror, adventure, science fiction to young adult. We also pick books by great authors that readers may have missed or other great books that perhaps did not receive the publicity that they deserved.

TRIBE SANKOFA, is a performing arts collective brought together by fabian thomas, is a vibrant and eclectic cadre of multi-talented performers who combine their artistry to add an exciting new dimension to the performing arts landscape of Jamaica and the rest of the world. Our niche is “….borrowed and original spoken word/poetry, soulful song-styling uniquely blended with other visual and performing arts”.

You are always welcome to pass through in ones, in twos and even in tens to have your own little reading session, and when we can spend some time reading with you, we will.

On Thursday, 23rd February at 6:30 PM, Heneka Watkis-Porter in collobaration with Bookophilia will host our bi-monthly series, "The Start Up of You. This time around we will be looking at "Partnering for Success". (This is a repeat/ second go at the Novemebr session)

We will be looking at creating an effective networking and partnership plan; Why do we need to partner? Who do we need to work with? with the backdrop of innovative ideas about businesses and offerings in general.
