About this event
Iconic country music superstar Trisha Yearwood gave fans an intimate glimpse into her upcoming songwriting album during an exclusive performance at The Bluebird Café. Joined in the round by her co-writers Chad Carlson, Erin Enderlin, Leslie Satcher, Sunny Sweeney, and Bridgette Tatum, Trishashared 10 never heard before tracks from the highly anticipated project. Trisha’s first preview of self-penned music was last year’s acclaimed track “Put It In A Song,” which Rolling Stone touted as “an instant classic,” further cementing her reputation as a dynamic songwriter.
Trisha co-produced this new album with multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning audio engineer, producer, songwriter and musician Chad Carlson. It marks Trisha’s first album in her career where she co-wrote every song, showcasing her evolution as a singer and songwriter. Fans will get the chance to experience the new music live during the upcoming concert tour. This special, seven-city theater tour kicks off on April 30, in Austin, TX, and concludes on May 17, in Lancaster, PA. Each performance will include tracks from the new album alongside Trisha’s timeless hits, offering an intimate evening of storytelling and song. The tour will feature special guest’s singer songwriters Sunny Sweeney and Erin Enderlin, who both collaborated with Trisha on the upcoming album.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, February 21, 2025. The presale begins on Wednesday, February 19, at 10:00am Local. Sign up for more information at www.trishayearwood.com/tour.
To celebrate her upcoming album and tour, Trisha will deliver a special exclusive performance of “The Wall or The Way Over” on The Kelly Clarkson Show on February 21. The standout track is about the power of words - what you say to someone, whether in a romantic relationship or not, stays with them. It may not have any weight to you, but to them, it could mean everything. At its heart, this song asks a powerful question: Will you be an obstacle in someone’s journey, or will you encourage them to rise? The soaring melody and heartfelt lyrics drive home the idea that relationships aren’t about control, they're about support. “The Wall or the Way Over” is both a deeply personal reflection and a universal message, setting the tone for an album that explores, strength, vulnerability, and the space between holding on and letting go.
In addition to her album and tour, Trisha will headline the inaugural “Band As One Nashville Concert for the Cure: Trisha Yearwood & Friends” presented by Susan G. Komen® on March 26, 2025, at the Ryman Auditorium. Joined by a star-studded lineup including Lauren Alaina, Kristin Chenoweth, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and more, the event will raise funds for breast cancer patient services.
As part of her busy spring, Trisha will also appear on NBC’s “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” on March 19, 2025, honoring the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary. Trisha, a longtime Opry member, will perform alongside an all-star roster of Opry members, including Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, and Reba McEntire, among others.
